John Donahue, professor and dean for educational policy, will be the presenter and discussion leader for our University Teaching Project workshop at noon on April 3 in the Ford Classroom at Swem Library. The term "high impact practices" applies to a set of learning experiences that have been shown to have beneficial outcomes for students from a wide range of backgrounds. Many of these experiences, such as community engagement courses, undergraduate research with faculty or study abroad are already available to many William & Mary students. In this workshop, we will look at future ways that the university will support faculty and students in better integrating these experiences, particularly through our SACS Quality Enhancement Program initiative. Lunch will be served beginning at 11:30, so please RSVP so we can save you a sandwich.
