[PAST EVENT] BLSA Presents--Speaker Series: Solo Practitioners and Small Firms
This year William and Mary's Black Law Student Association will be hosting a speaker series where we will showcase accomplished Black lawyers within the various sectors of the legal world. We aim to ensure that students have exposure to diverse perspectives from every level of legal practice. For our first speaker series, we will highlight four small firm and solo practitioners: Solomon Ashby, Jr., Charles Hands, Barbara Johnson, and Brittany Johnson. The program's format will be a virtual panel style with a list of questions followed by a Q&A. Overall, the purpose of the program is to illuminate our members and students through the panelist's respective experiences and advice to succeed as a solo/small firm practitioner. The event will take place this Thursday, September 30th, at 6 PM.
