Please join us at Highland on Saturday, April 2, 2022 for the Communal Quilt Project. The project replicates aspects of a sewing circle. Participants will be guided through the process of creating non-sewn quilt sections. With simple elements like fabric, glue, and scissors participants will make a quilt section that shares aspects of their own stories. In late Spring 2022, the sections will come together in a patchwork quilt to be displayed in Williamsburg. This is a great opportunity to bring our Highland community to the Williamsburg campus!

• Workshops are free of charge.

• No quilting or art experience needed!

• Due to supplies, the workshops are not open to the public.

• The two workshops will be held at the lower level of Highland’s event barn, at 10 AM and 1 PM.

• Each workshop is two hours long, and you only need to attend one.

• Highland continues to require masking when indoors.

• Advance sign-up required
