Lips is a community-based organization of diverse individuals that aims to uplift and center marginalized perspectives. Lips is a community-based organization of diverse individuals that aims to uplift and center marginalized individuals, their voices, and their lived experiences through semesterly zine publications, activism, political engagement, and education. We host weekly meetings in which we discuss a personal take on a topic of interest (including intersectionality, anti-racism, decolonization, sexual expression, self-discovery, ability, body positivity, mental health and more) and then host a creative workshop pertaining to the topic. As a zine, Lips is a platform for marginalized individuals and allies to fully express themselves with the goal of creating a supportive community that challenges oppressive systems through creative expression and shared dialogue. Reach out to @wmlips on Instagram for more information.
