David Kim Guest Speaker Event

AASI and the Government Department are hosting David Kim—one of the only Korean-American and openly queer political candidates running for office this election cycle—on Saturday, November 12th from 2:00 PM - 3:30 PM in Commonwealth Auditorium for a presentation and Q&A session. David is an immigration attorney and neighborhood council member running to represent California’s 34th district in the U.S. House of Representatives. This will be an exciting opportunity for those interested in acquiring direct exposure to congressional campaigning, grassroots movements, and discussion of race & identity. The event is free and open to all of campus.
