The William & Mary Symphony will join the Virginia Chamber Orchestra (VCO) on Sat., March 25 at 8 pm in the grand new Capital One Hall to perform Edward Lalo’s Symphony in G minor, called “one of the happiest of the French Symphonies.”

Featured soloists will be two winners of the 2022 WiIliam & Mary Concerto Competition: Sarah Russell-Hunter, violin, and Lydia Doughty, French horn. David Grandis, VCO Music Director and Director of Orchestras at William & Mary, will open the program with Brahms Hungarian Rhapsody No.6.

W&M alumni and parents may purchase tickets at a special discounted group rate, using the code WMAP. Tickets will be available via a link to TicketMaster on the VCO website (www.vco.events). 

Following their first international tour to Italy and Sicily in 2002, the William & Mary Symphony has performed in Paris and at the Kennedy Center’s Terrace Theater.
