You can enjoy Swem's varied exhibits on topics ranging from William & Mary regalia to faculty publications to the "From Fights to Rights: The Long Road to a More Perfect Union" project's focus on the Civil Rights Movement to the Civil War. "The Virginia Way of Life Must Be Preserved" exhibit examines how Virginia responded to the Supreme Court's momentous 1954 decision overturning "separate but equal" schools. "The Best of Care": Civil War Hospitals exhibit highlights just some of the material from Swem's Special Collections related to health care during the Civil War. "Open Minds: An Exhibit of Psychology Department Faculty Publications" on Swem's second floor shows the varied research conducted by the department's faculty.
