January 24, 2014
All day
Location
150
Dr. Cristol has been a faculty member of the Biology Department for over 16 years, where his research interest has been in ornithology - particularly bird behavior and ecotoxicology. In the last several years, Dr. Cristol's research has focused on mercury contamination in the Shenandoah River Valley and its impacts on birds. This seminar promises to be an interesting investigation of the impacts of mercury exposure on songbird development, endocrine and immune function, reproductive success, and more. Please come out and support your colleague! Coffee and tea will be served at 3:45pm outside of Millington 150. See you at the seminar!
