SIP is an intensive 4-week course that prepares students to be our next generation of social entrepreneurs. In addition to classroom instruction, students gain hands-on experience by providing pro bono consulting to entrepreneurial non-profits and social ventures. They are also mentored as they devise, market-test and iterate a social change-oriented product or service using the principles of the lean start-ups, as developed by entrepreneur and author Eric Riese. Students earn 3 upper-division or graduate-level credits.
