Located on the shore of Lake Matoaka, the Keck Lab supplies instructional and research support to environmental programs at William & Mary. In addition to funding organizations such as the National Science Foundation and the Virginia Environmental Endowment, the Keck Lab sponsors student-directed research funded, in part, through the Charles Center. We invite you to join us as Professor Randolph Chambers of the Keck Lab takes our Monroe Scholars on a tour of the lab and the surrounding area in woods on the shore of Lake Matoaka. He will give a brief overview of the work the Lab does, how students can get involved in research at the Keck Lab and highlight some of the natural beauty of the woodland setting of the lab. Part of the tour will be outside, so dress according to the weather.
