Join the Monroe Scholars for a tour of the William & Mary Center for Archaeological Research (W&MCAR). Established in 1988 to provide archaeological consulting and research services and applied educational opportunities in cultural resource management, the Center has provided the community a full range of cultural resource management services, including archaeology, architectural history, archival research, and collection management. We will begin the tour at their center on Jamestown Road and then walk to Unity Hall to tour the collections and conservation lab.
