This year’s PCN title is “Nandito Ako,” or “I Am Here.”

Santiago “Santi” Reyes, having been accepted into a college in the United States, is preparing to say goodbye to Lola Josephine and the rest of his family and friends. While packing, Santi finds a box full of letters and photos of a younger Josephine with a mysterious man. When he asks her about the man, Lola Josephine reveals her life story. Through the lens of his Lola’s past, Santi learns about love and the potential difficulties of immigrating but remains determined to fulfill his dreams beyond the bounds of the archipelago.
