Join the Global Research Institute on Wednesday April 17 from 3:00-5:00 pm in our new event space in the The Hive* for the Spring 2024 GRI Student Research Showcase! Teams of student researchers will present research conducted during the Spring 2024 semester, competing to be one of the top three teams which will each win a cash prize. The students will present from 3-4 pm, followed by a celebratory social hour from 4-5 pm with delicious treats.
*The Hive refers to the new space in the Ground Floor of Swem Library (400 Landrum Drive) where the Global Research Institute, the Institute for Integrative Conservation, and the Whole of Government Center of Excellence are now co-located. To find us, enter Swem Library via the main entrance on the first floor. Take the right-side stairs or elevator down one floor, to the Ground Floor. You will come out into the Botetourt Theater area. Turn right and go straight down the hall towards the double doors that open into The Hive. The Event Space is located in the "West Wing" of our space.
