Come hear Halina Zimm's powerful story of survival during the Holocaust. Halina was a teenager during the war. Her parents obtained Christian birth Certificates for their daughters after the German invasion of Poland. Halina and her two sisters left their parents and hid "in plain sight." They were forced to split up, and Halina spent most of the war in Warsaw working for a wealthy Polish couple and living across the street from the Warsaw ghetto. Sunday, April 7, 3:00pm at the Shenkman Jewish Center (406 Jamestown Road)
