Information Technology will host a live online audio seminar on strategies for online course design. Dr. Richard Smith, Associate Professor of Instructional Technology at the University of Houston - Clear Lake, and Dr. Caroline Crawford, Associate Professor of Instructional Technology at the University of Houston - Clear Lake, will offer guidance on how to design a high-quality online course while keeping instructor workload manageable. "Simplifying Online Course Design is for professors and lecturers designing their first online course, or seeking to take their Web-based instruction to the next level. The session will also benefit distance education administrators unfamiliar with online instruction."
