The Fund for the Public Interest is a national non-profit organization that works to build support for progressive organizations across the country. They are seeking hard-working individuals with good communication skills and a passion for social change to fill their field manager positions across the country. These are full-time summer positions at $400 - $600 per week. If you are looking to make an impact on the world by working to stop global warming, stand up against powerful corporations, and fight for equality, then this is the job for you. Information sessions are on April 7th and 8th at 10am, 2pm, 4pm, and 6pm. Individual interviews will be offered after each information session. Staff from the Fund for Public Interest will be available at an information table in the Sadler Center each day from 9 am to 6 pm. Students may sign up for an information session through the career office or at the Fund tables. If you have not signed up, you are still welcome to attend. You can also apply or find more information on the position at www.jobsthatmatter.org or by calling 1-800-75-EARTH.
