Join Trip Leaders from Campus Recreation's Tribe Adventure Program for an unforgettable spring break trek to Mount Rogers, Virginia’s highest point next to the beautiful Grayson Highlands State Park. Known for its wild ponies and rare alpine salamanders, this rigorous backpacking trip will provide a challenging backcountry camping and hiking experience in a landscape comparable to the Scottish Highlands. We will end our journey at Holliday State Park where we will enjoy a campfire and games with the TAP Virginia State Parks Road Trip spring break cohort. Rain or shine, strap on your boots and get ready for an amazing adventure! Meals, transportation, and equipment are all included with the $75 registration fee.
