Several weeks ago, I shared information about the Student Town Hall on AI hosted by the Office of the Provost. Now, it’s your turn! Provost Agouris invites you to attend a Faculty Town Hall meeting on March 6, 3:30-5 p.m. in Sadler Center’s Commonwealth Auditorium to hear your perspectives on the use of AI at William & Mary.

President Rowe has charged a university-wide AI Policy Initiative Committee (AIPI) to initiate policy formation for the following subject areas: oversight of AI in the classroom, faculty guidance on AI in research and analysis, regulation of AI in university operations, and support for the ethical and responsible management of data and resources related to AI across the university. I hope you will consider attending this important town hall session so our leadership can understand more of the faculty perspective on the topics listed above. You can also fill out a feedback form on the AIPI website to share your views about AI on campus.
