Bring your friends and come listen to the enchanting sounds of pipa - a traditional Chinese music instrument. With over 2000 years of history in China, the lute-like pipa has the shape of half a pear and takes name from "pi" and "pa," "plucking forward" and "plucking backward," respectively. Award-winning pipa-player, Zhiting Liu, will astound you with her skill, intensity, and passion. The show will take place in the theatre of the Williamsburg Regional Library on Friday, September 26th from 7:30 to 8:30 pm. This event is free and open to the public!
