Join us as we learn more about Dr. King's message, talk with Civil Rights activists and tour historic Petersburg, Va. Sunday will be filled with education as we talk to people that participated in the movement and take a tour of important historic places around Petersburg. Monday, students will join hundreds of other volunteers in community revitalization projects all around the city and attend a reading of Dr. King's words at Sycamore Rouge. Ten (10) students can sign-up to attend a MLK breakfast at historic First Baptist Church with guest speaker Wyatt Tee Walker and other social activists. The cost to students for the breakfast is $10. The breakfast is Monday morning at First Baptist Church starting at 8:30 a.m.
