[PAST EVENT] 2nd Annual W&M Night in Merchants Square
December 1, 2011
6pm - 9pm
The evening begins at 6:00 p.m. at the William & Mary Barnes and Noble Bookstore. The first 400 W&M students, faculty or staff to donate at least 2 items to the Foodbank of the Virginia Peninsula will receive a free "Spirit of Giving" T-shirt and goodie bag from Merchants Square. At this time, Santa will also be in the bookstore for pictures and there will be special discounts for members of the W&M community.
After visiting the William & Mary Bookstore, students can make their way out to Duke of Gloucester Street. The Trellis will be outside serving chili and warm drinks. At 7:00 p.m. there will be a live street performance of the Charles Dickens holiday classic, "A Christmas Carol." This 15-minute show is sure to put you in the holiday spirit. Following the performance, Wythe Candy will have treats for students in the store.
