Echoing the work of copyright specialist Molly Kleinman (2008), this workshop will provide:

1) introduction to Creative Commons,
2) a few key facts about copyright,
3) overview of the licenses,
4) how to use Creative Commons licensed
materials, and
5) how and why to Creative Commons
license your own work.

Attendees will leave with an understanding of how basic copyright law interacts with their teaching, and how Creative Commons licenses are helping to get us closer to where we ought to be.
