[PAST EVENT] Students for Stop Hunger Now Hunger Talk
April 23, 2015
7pm
According to The State of Food Insecurity in the World, 805 million people in the world do not have enough to eat. One in nine people go to bed hungry every night. We can change this. It all starts with learning about the problem. Thursday, April 23rd, there will be a Hunger Talk. This presentation will address the causes and effects of world hunger and malnourishment, and different ways that this problem can be addressed. The talk will be presented by our very own William & Mary professor, Scott Ickes. The event will be free and open to any students that would like to learn about this public health problem. The first step to solving this problem is understanding it.
