[PAST EVENT] DNA Notification Project:Training for Volunteer Attorneys and Law Students

The Commonwealth of Virginia has ordered DNA testing of biological evidence from hundreds of old criminal cases.The Mid-Atlantic Innocence Project (MAIP) has been asked to recruit and train pro bono attorneys and law students to reach out to current and former Virginia inmates to let them know that evidence from their cases will be tested, to inform them about the process, its implications and its timing, and to answer their questions. VA MCLE Credit available.
