[PAST EVENT] Charter Day Comedian: Bo Burnham

Alma Mater Productions, in collaboration with the Student Assembly, is THRILLED to announce this year's Charter Day Comedian: Bo Burnham.

Bo Burnham became the youngest person to ever record a half-hour Comedy Central special at the age of 18. He has released two hour-long specials since then: Words, Words, Words in 2010 and what. in 2013. The latter, what., was released on Netflix and YouTube simultaneously, and has since received over 8 million views on YouTube alone. Bo recently created and starred in the MTV series Zach Stone is Gonna Be Famous and wrote a book of poetry, EGGHEAD, which became a New York Times Bestseller. Bo's live shows are a unique blend of stand-up, music, and theatre. He's currently performing all over North America on his new "MAKE HAPPY TOUR."
Tickets are $10 for W&M students with ID, $15 for W&M faculty/staff with ID, and $25 for the general public. They will be available for purchase at the {{http://www.wm.edu/offices/boxoffice/, Phi Beta Kappa Box Office}} beginning January 26. The show may include mature themes and is not recommended for children. Doors open at 7.
