The Office of the Associate Provost for University eLearning Initiatives (APeL) is pleased to announce the Spring eLearning Faculty Seminar: Designing Flexible Instruction.
Want to learn ways to optimize your teaching based on insights into how students learn? Universal Design for Learning - or UDL - "guides the design of instructional goals, assessments, methods, and materials that can be customized and adjusted to meet individual needs." Join colleagues from across the university to explore strategies for integrating eLearning with a UDL lens to deliver content, engage students, and support student expression.
Seminar participants will meet five times throughout the semester. In addition to attending the seminar, each participant will complete an individual project designing or revising a course syllabus or student learning experience. Eight to 10 faculty will be selected to participate, and each will receive a $500 research or travel grant upon completion of their proposed project.
Please submit an application to participate by completing the following Tribe Form:

Applications must be completed by 5:00 PM on Friday, February 5.
