The staff of the William & Mary Review is excited to host one of the many talented poets featured in their 2016 issue, the author of ?Four Failed Elegies for Alexander Hamilton.?

Award-winning poet Adam Tavel will read selections of his poetry on Friday, April 22 at 7 pm in the Tucker Theatre. Tavel has published three books of poetry: The Fawn Abyss (forthcoming July 2016), Plash & Levitation (2015) and Red Flag Up (2013.) His work appears in several literary journals and anthologies, including Plume, Salamander, Cumberland River Review, and Anti? and he has served as the poetry editor of the journal Conte from 2005?2014. Tavel won the Permafrost Book Prize in Poetry and the 2010 Robert Frost Award. He is currently a professor at Wor-Wic Community College in Maryland.
