The Virginia Coastal Policy Center at William & Mary Law School is hosting a tree dedication ceremony in honor of Sharon Coles-Stewart J.D. ?75 at 3 p.m. on Saturday, April 22nd. The ceremony will be held in the courtyard of the new James A. and Robin L. Hixon Center for Experiential Learning and Leadership at William & Mary Law School, which is located at 613 S. Henry Street in Williamsburg.
 
A tree has been planted, and a plaque will be placed, in the Hixon Center courtyard in honor of Coles-Stewart. A graduate of William & Mary Law School and Eastern Michigan University, Coles-Stewart died in July 2016, following a distinguished legal career in Hampton Roads. She is fondly remembered by colleagues and all who knew her as a tireless advocate, mentor and friend. The dedication ceremony will begin in the courtyard at 3 p.m., followed by light refreshments. Members from the local community are welcome to attend the event to honor Coles-Stewart.
