[PAST EVENT] African American Alumni Weekend
REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN - CLICK HERE TO REGISTER!
William & Mary Law School is thrilled to host our second African American Alumni Weekend on February 23 & 24, 2018. We hope that attendees of the African American Alumni Weekend will enjoy reconnecting with classmates, meeting graduates who walked the halls of Marshall-Wythe before or after you, and speaking with current students who can tell you about life at Marshall-Wythe today. The two-day program will mark the 64th anniversary of the graduation of Edward Augustus Travis, B.C.L. '54, the first African American to graduate from William & Mary.
Our last African American Alumni Weekend was hosted in 2014 and highlights included keynote speakers: Congressman Bobby Scott, David Baugh, The Honorable Susan D. Wigenton '87, the Honorable Wilford Taylor, Jr. '78, the Honorable Eileen A. Olds '82 and the Honorable Charles Thomas.
We are in the beginning stages of planning for this exciting reunion and will post more information as it comes together. If you are interested in assisting with planning or you would like to be on the mailing list for the event, please contact Morgan Hutter at [[mlhutter]] or 757-221-3796.
