Maria Miao will conduct her honors project on intercultural theatre making her analysis and staging of the play Secret Love in Peach Blossom Land. Two info sessions will be held on 3/21 @ 6:00pm and 3/22 @ 6:30pm in PBK 221. Directed by internationally acclaimed Taiwanese director Stan Lai, this play has been performed hundreds of times in China and premiered in the U.S. during the Oregon Shakespeare Festival in 2015. Maria is looking for actors with diverse backgrounds; a co-director specializing in physical comedy; stage manager and designers. Auditions and full rehearsal will start in the fall. Come out to the info session to learn about this play and enjoy some pizza.
