More info about this year’s artists:
Following the release of their critically acclaimed debut album 'Our Own House,' touring internationally, and performing at some of the biggest music festivals around the globe, MisterWives is still enjoying massive success in 2019. The band, consisting of Mandy Lee [vocals], Etienne Bowler [drums], William Hehir [bass], Marc Campbell [guitar], Jesse Blum [keys, trumpet, accordion] and Mike Murphy [Saxophone] released their highly anticipated 2nd album 'Connect the Dots' worldwide through Photo Finish/Republic Records this spring. Born and raised in the creative crucible of New York City, MisterWives are the latest in a long line of genre defying bands to break out of the city that never sleeps and gain recognition on a global stage.
Since making her debut with 2016’s double-platinum “Hide Away,” 20-year-old singer/songwriter Daya won her first ever Grammy Award for her smash collaboration with The Chainsmokers “Don’t Let Me Down,” released a gold-certified album, and headlined a national tour. Just months after debuting at #5 on Billboard’s 21 Under 21 list in 2016, the Pittsburgh-born artist emerged as the youngest honoree on Forbes’ 30 Under 30 music list in 2017. Newly signed to Interscope Records, Daya is set to deliver a sophomore album that finally shows the full depth of her talent and scope of her artistry.
Early fans of Ari Lennox, the Washington, D.C.-bred singer-songwriter, became clued in when they began repeatedly clicking onto YouTube to hear her refreshing, laid-back vocals on soulful covers of songs by Coldplay, Fantasia, Blink 182 and finally her own track “La La La La.” The buzz grew following the release of “Backseat” featuring Cozz—her first single after being signed to Dreamville/Interscope in late 2015. As of 2019, Ari is riding a series of hits and is also featured on the Creed II soundtrack with her song “Shea Butter Baby” alongside J.Cole.
