[PAST EVENT] What about COLL 400? Barn Raising and Brainstorming Workshop
CLA Fellows Chris Nemacheck and Arthur Knight will offer a workshop for faculty on COLL 400 course development. COLL 400 courses take initiative in synthesis and critical analysis, solve problems in an applied and/or academic setting, create original material or original scholarship, and communicate effectively with a diversity of audiences.
The workshop will be a faculty brainstorming session on developing courses, or revising existing courses, that meet these goals. We?ll discuss assignments and strategies for engaging students in high-impact work that encourages them to capitalize on the breadth and depth of their William & Mary education.
The Research Room is in the back left corner on the main floor of Swem Library.
Coffee and snacks will be provided.
Presented by the Center for the Liberal Arts.
