[PAST EVENT] UAID's Mental Health First Aid Training
United Against Inequities in Disease (UAID) is partnering with Colonial Behavioral Health and the National Council of Behavioral Health to offer FREE Mental Health First Aid Training on Saturday, April 1. The session will focus on different mental health topics such as depression, trauma and substance use. Participants will also learn about interventions, giving reassurance and information to those who need it.
The training will start at 8:30 am and will take the entire day. It will take place in Washington 317. Snacks and lunch will be provided. More details with specific information will be sent out in an email to those who sign up as the date approaches.
Prior registration is required and we can only take about 30 trainees. Registration will be on a first-come, first-serve basis.
