BLSA's 19th Annual Oliver Hill Scholarship Banquet. This event is hosted annually in an effort to pay tribute to the life and legacy of Oliver W. Hill, a legendary civil rights pioneer who dedicated his legal career to fighting for equality and justice. In addition, the Banquet also celebrates the accomplishments of our chapter for the academic year. This year, the event coincides with the African American Alumni conference and the 60th anniversary of the first black law student to be admitted to the law school. David Baugh will be the keynote speaker.

The Oliver Hill Scholarship is awarded to a student who is committed to the objectives, goals, and principles of the Black Law Students Association (BLSA) at William & Mary Law School. The recipient must demonstrate a commitment to personal excellence, social justice, and advancing and protecting civil rights of all citizens.

Tickets may be purchased in the lobby of the law school 2/10- 2/17 (cash/checks), or online (credit cards/checks) at http://law.wm.edu/alumni/celebration2014/index.php.
