[PAST EVENT] Race to Nowhere: Public Screening and Town Hall Discussion

The W&M School of Education (SOE) and Counseling Center are hosting a free public screening and town hall discussion of the documentary film, Race to Nowhere. The event will be held in the SOE Matoaka Room on Tuesday, March 27, at 6:00 p.m. The film depicts the darker side of our achievement culture and the effects on students of the emphasis on high-stakes achievement tests. Please join us on Facebook (WMSOE: Race to Nowhere) and Twitter (@SOE_Race) to submit questions, comments and pictures. Please arrive early as seating is limited. Priority will be given to W&M students, faculty and staff.
