W&M Faculty Led Study Abroad Program to Beijing
Students will spend the first week of the program in Williamsburg before traveling to Madrid, Spain, for several nights of museum visits. They will then head to León, Spain, to hike a portion of the Camino de Santiago along the Camino Frances.
The Cape Town summer program allows students to study and experience how post-Apartheid South Africa is working to combat racial, ethnic, economic, and political disparity.
William & Mary’s Berlin summer program offers participants the opportunity to immerse themselves in the German language and culture.
William & Mary’s summer program in Montpellier offers students the chance to immerse themselves in French language, literature, and culture.
These excursions will allow students to experience the vibrant culture, history, and tradition that flourish in Spain, while encouraging immersion in the Spanish language and the Cádiz community.
In Goa, students will have course-related excursions to points of interest around Goa will enhance the student’s understanding of the economic and cultural background of the region.
Students in the Florence program study under the direction and instruction of William & Mary and local faculty in this one-month intensive Italian program. All courses are held at LinguaViva Language Institute.
The W&M Department of Classical Studies offers a three-week intensive summer program in Ancient Roman Studies, emphasizing Rome and Pompeii. Students explore archaeological sites, classical art, and monuments in their historical context.
What happens when an art exhibition becomes a neuroscience laboratory? This interdisciplinary class uniting art and science will use the works in the exhibition to examine the roles of creativity and cognition.
