Following classes with business and law students, McGlothlin Forum Fellows - David Boies, John Snow, and William Weldon - wlll share their thoughts at a public forum about the state of the economy and free enterprise system.

This symposium will look at capital murder prosecutions mainly in Virginia from both a practice standpoint and a policy standpoint. There will be panels on trial and appellate practice and a policy panel on if and when the death penalty should be imposed

Professor David Bernstein of George Mason Law will discuss why the common wisdom on Lochner is largely unfounded. Dean Douglas will offer additional insight following Professor Bernstein's commentary.

The William & Mary Tax Conference offers lawyers and accountants an in-depth look at current topics in tax law. Offers CLE and CPE credits.

The IBRL:SD Scholarly Luncheon Series will feature preeminent constitutional scholar Robert Tsai. Professor Tsai's lecture is titled "Why Study Failed Constitutions? John Brown's Vision for America."

The Honorable Thomas B. Griffith, D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals, will discuss judicial humility and the appropriate role of judges in applying the law.

W&M Law School's Lewis B. Puller, Jr. Veterans Benefits Clinic and Dean Davison M. Douglas will host a Veterans Day observance at 11 a.m. in the Law School lobby. Members of the clinic's new advisory board will be announced.
