The Sustainability Forum is a monthly opportunity for environmental, social, and economic groups to share their sustainability ideas, needs and accomplishments to create a more cohesive and aware community. All students, faculty, and staff are welcome!

The Criminal Law Society will be holding an interest meeting on Thursday, September 15th, at 1:00 p.m. in Room 119. We will discuss the upcoming activities that CLS is putting together, including the annual Mock Trial Competition.

Linda Greenhouse will deliver a lecture entitled "Telling it Like it Is: Abortion, Voter ID, and the Increasing Willingness of Courts to Call Out Legislatures for Acting in Bad Faith" at lunch on Sept. 22, in room 127. Sponsored by IBRL and free to all. 

Linda Greenhouse will read and discuss her new book The Burger Court and the Rise of the Judicial Right. Copies of the book will be available for purchase at the lecture, with the opportunity to get it signed during a reception following the lecture. 

Linda Greenhouse will deliver a lecture on her most recent book, The Burger Court and the Rise of the Judicial Right, which she wrote with coauthor Michael J. Graetz. The lecture will be followed by a short reception and book signing.

Neal Katyal, former Acting Solicitor General of the U.S. and partner at Hogan Lovells, will present W&M's Constitution Day Lecture, "Institutionalizing Dissent," on September 23. Free & all are welcome. Sponsored by the Institute of Bill of Rights Law.

Mark A. Lemley, Neukom Professor at Stanford Law School, will present the 2016 Mervis Lecture titled "The Surprising Resilience of the Patent System" on September 26 at 12:50 PM in room 127. A free boxed lunch is available (RSVP here to reserve one).
