To kick off Black History Month this year, The Black Law Students Association (BLSA) present our annual symposium: Social Activism and the Law! Topics include: Freedom of Assembly, Privacy, and Civil Liability! Heavy hors d'oeuvres will be provided.

Judge Gibney joins us on Wednesday to share his own candid experience with substance abuse, the warning signs in law students, and ways to manage and prevent substance dependence.
Professor James Q. Whitman of Yale Law School will give a workshop on a paper titled "The Justice of Enslavement: Homeric Values in Roman Slave Law." Due to limited seating, this workshop is open only to William & Mary students, faculty and staff.
