The William & Mary Journal of Race, Gender, and Social Justice cordially invites you to our 2020 Symposium: First Amendment Marketplace Morass: Free Speech Jurisprudence and its Interactions with Social Justice.
This Symposium will focus on the First Amendment and its resounding legal effects on issues pertaining to race, gender, social justice, and the gray areas in between these pillars. We aim to examine questions such as (a) which stories are being told at the expense of/to the detriment of others, (b) who all belongs to "the people", and (c) who gets the benefit of these rights, and who does not?
