This program brings 39 Japanese university students to America for three weeks to study and experience first-hand American society and culture with William & Mary graduate and undergraduate students.

The Modern Languages department will offer placement tests in the following languages this fall: Arabic, Chinese, Italian, Japanese and Russian.

The Japanese Placement Exam is scheduled for Monday, August 22, 2011 in Washington Hall 315. The exam will be offered twice: 9:00-10:00 and 11:00-12:00.

The Chinese language placement exam is scheduled for Monday, August 22, in Washington 317. All incoming students with prior study in Chinese must take this exam.
