We’re adding a stop on the Road to Women’s Weekend hosted by Society of 1918 member and W&M M.B.A. alumna Kathleen Carroll! You're invited to join our cocktail reception at the Nobska Lighthouse & Maritime Museum, an iconic Cape Cod landmark.
W&M, the Alma Mater of the Nation, recently achieved significant historic fundraising milestones in the realm of coastal and marine science.
- A $100 million gift from Jane Batten HON ’17, L.H.D. ’19 for W&M’s Batten School of Coastal & Marine Sciences was announced in July 2024.
- A $50 million scholarship gift providing full tuition for students pursuing careers in coastal and marine sciences from Dr. R. Todd Stravitz ’82 and the Brunckhorst Foundations was announced in February of this year.
Join our cocktail reception to spark conversations and engagement related to building smart, resilient coastal communities and blue economies during Earth Weekend at Woods Hole in Falmouth, Massachusetts. Light hors d’oeuvres and beverages (alcoholic and nonalcoholic) will be served while we enjoy the Resilient Woods Hole exhibit at this beacon of light.
Bring a friend, spouse or partner and register below! A suggested ticket donation of $15 per person will help support the Friends of Nobska Light & Maritime Museum for their support of this event. Space is limited, so please register early!
