[PAST EVENT] Virtual Career Chat: MaryAnne Armstrong, Intellectual Property Law

ZoomThe week of January 18, the Cohen Career Center will be offering virtual Career Chats with alumni and parents of William & Mary students. These will be one hour sessions with the professional speaking for about 30 minutes and then about 30 minutes of Q&A.
MaryAnne Armstrong has a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry from the Pennsylvania State University and a Ph.D. in biochemistry, with a master’s degree in immunology, both from Cornell University. Dr. Armstrong worked as a post-doctoral fellow in the Laboratory of Experimental Immunology, National Cancer Institute, NIH. She further has a law degree from George Mason University School of Law. She has practiced in the intellectual property field since 1995, working with both large and small companies and universities, for the preparation and prosecution of patent applications and client counseling in the fields of pharmaceutical chemistry, biotechnology, vaccines, organic chemistry, medical devices and plant patents. Dr. Armstrong lectures around the world on patent matter.
