[PAST EVENT] Honors Thesis Writers' Retreat
Access & Features
- Free food
- Registration/RSVP
Have you ever wished for your own dedicated writing space in Swem?
The Director for Undergraduate Research and William & Mary Libraries invite you to a Writers’ Retreat in Swem Library. Modeled after the Faculty Writers’ Retreat, the purpose is to give you uninterrupted time to work on your honors thesis. The retreat will provide you with your own reserved study space in Swem, along with food, beverages, library swag and (perhaps most importantly) STRUCTURE.
The retreat will run from April 3-6, 6 pm to midnight. We understand that schedules vary, and you may need to arrive late, leave early, or dip out for another commitment. Accepted applicants will be expected to work on their theses. A light dinner will be served at 6 pm, allowing for nourishment and networking, and then it's off to write!
Applicants will be asked about their graduation date, availability to attend, interest in programming, and their theses work. Priority will be given to applicants who can attend most of the days and have concrete, realistic goals for the week.
Space is limited; those selected will be notified in late March. Apply by 3/24/23: https://wmsas.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_2hI0zW2xZM1S5F4
