"Larger than Still Life" is an art exhibition featuring the work of Xico Greenwald, a New York-based painter and Associate Professor of Art at CUNY-Borough Community College who received his MFA from Brooklyn College in 2007.  Artsy has described his "paintings of everyday objects" as "born out of Greenwald’s belief that the commonplace is rich subject matter and that there is poetry to be found in the prosaic stuff of life." Greenwald is also an accomplished art critic who frequently writes for the New York Sun and other periodicals.
