On Friday, November 14th at noon in Morton 37, Professor Clarissa Hayward of the Political Science department at Washington University in St. Louis, will be speaking about her new book, How Americans Make Race: Stories, Institutions, Spaces (Cambridge), which recently won the best new book award from the Urban Politics section of the American Political Science Association. Professor Hayward's work lies at the intersection of normative political theory and American political development, and we anticipate that her talk will be of broad interest to scholars across many disciplines.
