This month-long program allows students interested in health professions to experience the pre-med milieu in a Caribbean culture. Students will learn about historical influences that compose Antiguan culture and how these aspects interconnect with issues in health sciences, including the role of homeopathic and traditional medicine. Courses will include Human Anatomy and Biomechanics of Human Movement in Antiqua. Cultural experiences may include clinical shadowing in local clinics. Students will live in dormitories.
