When egotistical leading man and producer, Fred Graham, is reunited with his ex-wife, Lilli Vanessi, as the two play opposite one another in a musical adaptation of Shakespeare's Taming of the Shrew, the theater is in for a heck of a time. The battle of the sexes continues both on- and off-stage as the two butt heads, though their love for one another might not have actually ended with their divorce. Add in gangsters, several cases of mistaken identity, a veritable web of romantic entanglements, and - of course - flashy dance numbers, and Kiss Me, Kate, a true Broadway classic, is sure to please.
