Doris Sommer, author of The Work of Art in the World (Duke, 2014) and founder of Harvard University's Cultural Agents Initiative, will be visiting the campus and giving a lecture on Thursday, October 12. The following day, Friday, October 13, she will lead her innovative pedagogy Pre-Texts workshop. The events are co-sponsored by the CLA, Teaching Project, Citizen-Scholars Initiative, and the Reves Center.
