Dr. Jose received his PhD at Yale in 2005 and did his thesis with Michael Koelle studying G protein receptors using the C. elegans animal model. He then went on to do his postdoc in Craig Hunter's lab at Harvard University focusing on RNAi transport in C. elegans. As new faculty member at the UMD, he continues his work in RNA transport.
